1. He'll make millions from royalties on his books.
And just like the guys at the center of Watergate and Iran Contra he'll probably be back in some high office in DC within a decade.

Paint me jaded, but I've no faith in anything but that the system is as corrupt as the people who populate it.

2. That's good, cause then the Wilsons can collect on their huge civil verdict.
Now that Libby's been found guilty at trial in a criminal case, where the standard of proof is "beyond a reasonable doubt", it is cut and dried liability in the Wilson's civil trial against him, because in civil court the standard of proof is a preponderance (i.e., more than 50%) of the evidence. I don't know that the Wilsons have filed yet, but now they are in great shape to do so.

In the upcoming civil trial, Wilson/Plame v. Libby, it will be a matter of law that Libby has damaged the Wilsons, the only issue to be decided is the value of the damages which the Wilsons suffered.
