Is YouTube Down or Is It My Computer?
i'm trying to watch a couple things and the du videos aren't showing up. well, the threads are, but the square of the youtube picture won't show up. so i click the youtube link and i get timed out.

then i go on youtube in another window and that gets timed out. anyone else having a problem getting on youtube?

4. Until just a few minutes ago
Youtube was down for maintenance. They had their lab assistant "down for repairs" logo in place of the main page. It's working now, give it another try.

6. Might be regional
The servers ordinarily assigned to you are probably still out of commission. If you keep an eye on the status bar in your browser, you'll see that you're fed by the same handful of servers. I recently moved from the east coast to west Texas and had to acquaint myself with a new set.

It may be that your browser is just loading the "down for maintenance" page from your cache. CTRL-SHIFT-R will contact the web server for the latest index ;).

edit: whoops, meant shift, not alt!
