...is a freshman House Democrat in a Republican suburban district north of New York City.

You may have seen him on "The Colbert Report."

He voted against the FISA bill on Friday.

wrote him with big bravos!!!!

He is on Karl Rove's hit list and won the district by a whisker from Bushbot Sue Kelly. Money now seems to be going in big bunches to a GOP candidate in order to defeat him.

This is what taking a courageous stand to protect the constitution looks like. It takes courage when you cast a vote that isn't "politically expedient' but is the "right thing to do"

4. BTW...it WAS a Republican district and we are a far suburb of NYC but when there was an increase
in housing prices, it appears more Democrats moved in, thank goodness!!!!

but I live there and the demographics has changed in the last few years. More NYC Democrats have moved in.
