What's the friggin difference between a republican imperialist and a democratic one?

I'm sick of all these MoFo's...The Mafia, La Cosa Nostra, whatever you want to call organized crime, couldn't hold a candle to the crooks known as the US gov't..

1. He's made a string of explosive claims recently
and backed none of them up with evidence. While I believe that there's people on both sides complicit, he's lost his credibility with me.

2. wow.
I totally disagree.

He's maybe the one guy in journalism that insiders use to get the story out so that maybe, just maybe the apathetic public will be shaken from their American Idol slumber enough to do something about it.,,,Maybe his getting the story out has actually thrown a monkey wrench into Bush's plans previously....

10. He's been saying the Spec Ops were in Iran for 5 years now
where's the damage they've done? Why aren't Iran playing the victim and reporting their guys going missing? Why doesn't Iran take that to the UN?

Where are the rape tapes from Abu Ghraib? He's said they exist, but in this day and age, everything leaks. Copies are made, people screw up, whatever.

I know this guy has a reputation of some excellent work, but I feel his biting at nothing and reporting it as a juicy steak.

These secret ops are gathering intel ,chosing targets..ect...

They are preparing for war ...not waging war...just yet.

You don't think Iran would show the body?

30. So you are saying any story that doesn't expose whistle blowers shouldn't be believed?
There is a reason that reporters don't expose their anonymous sources, I don't have to explain to you what that reason is do I?

3. I knew someone in DC,
a man from an old Washington family that had had the premier framing business. They did work for the State Department, the White House, the Smithsonian, places like that. I was friendly with the old man who turned out to be the last of his family to run the business. Anyway, he told me about Sy Hersh, who came to see him when he was writing his book about JFK, and how obnoxious Hersh was when my friend had no juicy stories to tell him about President Kennedy and Marilyn Monroe. He said Hersh tried every which way to get him to tell him something that had never happened.

He was really disgusted with him. Ever since then, I've taken Hersh's work with a huge grain - nay, a cup - of salt.

Yeah. Well. I'll take them with a grain of salt too.

Do you think Washington is populated only with political professionals? It's just a city like any other.

I really don't get whatever point you were attempting to make.

17. Actually no journalist has more credibility than Cy Hersh.
And if he says he has proof, just as with MeL ai and Abu Garib, he has got it. He doesn't have to show his proof. He has proved himself time and again.

24. Your statement contradicts itself
It's time Hersh coughed up the goods. There's no reason why someone who was right about A should be assumed to be right about B, and C, and D, and E.

32. LOL!
How about taking a look in the mirror pal?

What proof have you offered here that Sy Hersch isn't telling the truth?

How many stories have you broke?

How many extremely powerful people have you pissed off because you had the courage to expose them?

I would venture that you are less believable than Sy Hersch.

it's the Democratic leadership of those committees that have gone along with this crazy shit.

15. What's so controversial about this
It's a bi-partisan empire. Has been for decades. Let's be adults and admit to the fact that the Dems are complicit and deeply involved every step of the way. What's all the fuss?

The difference between the two parties on the things that matter most -- imperialism and corporatism -- is just a matter of probabilities.

the congress. Yet, come November most of the incumbents will be reelected. And then this time next year there will be posts all over the place regarding discontent with congress. You buys your ticket, you takes your ride.

Elect new ones.
