Brava! Sadly, your point is spot-on. People ARE dying while those idiots parse words and try to play pattycake. My husband and I have this running "joke" about that perennial reply from some war-proponent or fairy-tale lover: "...another six months" - "we need to give it six more months." Or - "another four to six months should..." Or the ever-popular "if we don't see any movement in six months..."

HOW MANY of these "six monthses" do we have to sit through, and how many more of our soldiers have to die and lose limbs while they diddle over verbiage in Washington? I'm with you, my friend. CUT THE FUNDS, DAMMIT. REPEAL the war authorization. NOW. CUT THE FRICKIN' FUNDS. STOP the war NOW and BRING EVERYBODY HOME.
