the more "They're craaazzy. They're going to do it. They're going to bomb Iran." stories there are in the news?

I have. So has Iran. And I'll bet, so has China.

1. This is not to say there is no danger. World Wars are always started...
when this type of Big Power bluffing goes horribly wrong.

4. I can't help but think that the floods, fires, tornadoes, hurricanes and
the rest are somehow tied in with the behavior of the things we have allowed to ruin our country these past 8 years.

Yes, that's things referring to people and ruin as in RUIN.

5. Certainly the pattern has been one of neglect, willful or deliberate sinister design
....who can say which, but Bush and republican policies have been in effect for seven and a half years and the effects are well under way

6. I have noticed that...
every time the pressure is on the Iraqi's to put out for the oil companies, for some reason attacking Iran coincides. Been going on for four years now. I have to say, I can't imagine how the Iraqi's have not given in yet..how many bombs does it take?

7. Noam Chomsky: "Currently, Iraq is a US/Iran Condominium"...
http://www.informationclearinghouse.info/article20185.htm

I'll bet it goes something like this:

US to Iraq: "Sign the deal. We're not going to give you a better deal. Sign NOW while oil prices are high."

Iran to Iraq: "What, are you crazy? You going to let those jerks screw you?"

US to Iran (through press rumors): "We're Craaazzzyy. We'll bomb you for sure if you keep talking shit like that."

Iran to the US: "Yeah, yeah, yeah. Suuurrre you are."

8. makes sense to me...
I too wonder where China and Russia are in all of this. I wonder if maybe the Russians, with the help of the Chinese, are doing to the U.S. what the U.S. did to Russia in Afghanistan.

9. Big Oil is killing the goose that laid the Golden Egg...
How long can we afford to spend hundreds of billions each year protecting Big Oil's hegemony?

China and Russia are waiting for us to collapse so that they can walk in.

11. If the US attacks Iran things are going to get real hot on their weakest flank which

is Iran's eastern border with Afghanistan and
Pakistan. I expect that, if the US attacks,
Iran will send troops over the border between
Pakistan and Baluchistan opening a western front
in Afghanistan. If that happens Canada will with
draw its troops and the war will spread from Iraq
to the Indian border.
