Father shown in YouTube Taser video pleads guilty
Associated Press
2:38 PM CDT, June 30, 2008
WAUKESHA, Wis. - A man who was seen in a YouTube video with his son as they shocked each other with a stun gun has pleaded guilty to illegal possession of an electric weapon.

Forty-two-year-old Paul J. Dupey of Waukesha and his son, 22-year-old Paul M. Crowell of North Prairie, were charged after authorities tracked them down from the video clip.

The criminal complaint says Crowell took the Taser from an officer's squad car on New Year's Day as he warmed himself after his car went into a ditch. He then took the gun to Dupey's house, and the two men videotaped themselves.

Dupey faces up to three years in prison when he is sentenced Aug. 6.

His son is due in court Thursday for a plea hearing.

1. So you steal a taser from a cop
and then put a video of you using it on YouTube. That clown should go to prison just for being so damn stupid.

2. ah yes
There was a case at the local univ. not too long ago where some kids committed a theft, posted pictures of themselves WITH the stolen property on a myspace page, and were subsequently disciplined (and maybe prosecuted... I don't remember) for the crime after the school admin found the myspace page. THEN, they complained that the school violated their privacy for looking at their myspace page.

Commit a crime. Post evidence of it on myspace, and then complain when it's used against you.

Similarly st0000pid.
