5. They suspended all business for one hour to read this.
Why is this making me feel uneasy? I don't know what to think. I know what I hope they are up to with their emphasis on the tyranny of King George. Could they be about to turn the tables on the Dems and announce impeachment?

9. Oh, I get it now. Cornyn, of all people, suggested to Lieberman
that the Senate create a new tradition of reading the DoI in observance of its first reading on July 8, 1776.

8. Saw that and was going to post a LIEberman sighting
I thought he was surgically attatched at the hip to McCain. Is McCain and Lindsay Graham there too?

13. I swear, he is reading parts of the bible. Get him out of there
relating the constitution and the Declaration of Independence to biblical things.

15. It's about time Lieberman finally reads it
He ought to read the Constitution and all of Thomas Paine's work while he's at it, along with other writings of Jefferson, and perhaps, if he can stretch his brain around it, some of the Enlightenment philosphers that inspired the Constitution and Declaration of Independence in the first place. Hell, someone get him a copy of the Magna Carta as well.
