Why did Dick Cheney tell a colleague "to go fuck himself".

Well According to John Stewart, it was "because he was to busy to go himself". Which then makes me wonder is that request any more or less insulting than Jessie Jackson's threat to cut off a vital part of Obama's anatomy. I am not a great fan of Jessie Jackson (and I am an Obama supporter) but I do not see that his behavior is any more crass. Does anyone else think we are seeing a double standard.
