Seriously!!

I'd like to know who actually wrote the book and how much she was paid to put her name on it.

8. I am pretty sure Jenna doesn't really have a clue who Anne Frank was
or why her Diary was so memorable. I doubt that Jenna could ever relate to the story of Anne Frank..assuming she has actually READ it, of course.

Say, Jenna....didn't Anne Frank once say "I Vant to be alone"and go into hiding? I think there is a rumor that she is alive and living in Switzerland somewhere, ( along with Franco, Jim Morrison and Elvis) maybe you could search for the elusive Miss Frank and interview her. ........ what a great documentary that would be. Yanno?

Move over Geraldo :sarcasm:

6. Jenna and Babs, both, should be writing
about their experiences as soldiers in the Iraq war.

7. Please, please, please, let's encourage Jenna into believing she's a great author.
Remember what happened when Hitler's dreams of being acknowledged as a great painter were dashed.

I say that flippantly, but you never know what a bush will do when its ego is threatened.

9. Seriously, why on earth are her handlers setting her up to write a book?
The woman is not particularly bright, and has no life experience or education for such an effort to even occur to her! So she met an impoverished woman who had a difficult life and history. Those are still the absolute barebones of a story and have to be treated from a well-educated perspective in the fields of economics, social studies, political history, geography, medical care, health issues, poverty, etc. What is the purpose behind this?

REMEMBER: WWJW? WHAT WOULD JENNA WRITE?
Here's one link:
www.whitehouse.org/ask/twins.asp

Randi Jackson , from New York, NY writes:
This question is for Jenna. On a recent campaign trip with your father, you were photographed sticking your tongue out at reporters from the back seat of the presidential limousine. Can you please tell us why you did this?
Jenna Bush:
J/K!

ok if u really want 2 no… so me + my dad wuz pulling up to the plane after visiting some smelly town full of poor people + jesus freakz + i wuz all "how much longer til we get back to DC" – becuz i knew it wuz ladys nite @ the hard rock cafe on E st. which sux but still it meanz no cover + well drinx are halfsies til 8. and dad wuz all "well we could leave right now but instead we gotta wait until they load all those jew reporters into the back of the plane." so thats what they got 4 making me late!!!

***************************************************
Bernard Switzer , from St. Louis, MO writes:
Is it really true that you ladies pleaded with your father NOT to run for President back in 1999?
Jenna Bush:
TOTALLY. dad wuz all tell me if i should run 4 prez + we wuz all NO + he wuz all but they say i gotta + they OWN ME + we wuz all that sux 4 U cuz we don't want majer loserz watching us so we cant party + he wuz all sorry but UR shit outta luck bcuz i only asked so i could say I did + i want 2B richer than god so i am running + i was all DAD I SO H8 UR GUTZ!!!!!!!

10. It's probably to market abstinence and *compassionate conservatism*
My guess is that her book will focus on how teens should not have sex (then the girl wouldn't be a mother with HIV bla bla bla)

I think this will be a vehicle to promote the right's idiotic chastity vow ceremonies and how public assisstance should be placed solely in the hands of churches and charitible orgs.

That was their slant in Marvin Olansky's book "compassionate conservatism* (with a foreward written by the chimp himself) so I am assuming this will just be a rehash of the same crap since no one was much interested in that deranged book at the time.

I think I am like the only person I know that ever read that horrendous book back when bush first announced he was running and kept spouting the key phrase "compassionate conservatism"-- it was a truly disturbing vision for the nation believe me!

11. The GOP is just brazen enough to try to market chastity through Jenna!
I'd have expected them to use one of the potential male heirs.

The idea of her going on a promotional tour around the country on this is amusing. Think she'll claim to have quit drinking like her father?

And she may give the profits to charity, but she'll still get one hell of a nice charitable deduction on her taxes. Maybe she's coming into a huge sum from her trust funds at 23 and they needed an offset.

14. As I said, it's worth reading to find out... but your context has value.
And 17, pregnant, no daddy to help (single parenting is NO FUN AT ALL), and with a disease that'll eventually kill her, there is a point to this; that's what it could be about.

Won't know for sure until it's read...

But like it or not, abstinence is a method of controlling disease and overpopulation.

18. I agree!
But regarding this maybe they should have had Barbera the senior Bush write the book! ;)

"abstinence is a method of controlling disease and overpopulation"

America would have been spared one less idiot!

On a serious note I will be curious to see what type of slant the book has, merit or just more posturing for the right wingers think tank/church coffers!

12. I'm going to read the book before I become concrete in any opinion...
even the ones I've already said. I'm still in shock over the proceedings, but I may be missing something as well. The truth is, the only way to know is to read it... all things considered, we're still two very different countries...

13. Did she call HERSELF Anne Frank or the young mother with AIDS? IMO, she meant the young woman
and others dealing with AIDS.

in terms of the type of influence it would have.
