More McCain, um, brain farts — (I prefer to call them lies)

It’s Jake Tapper, but it’s the only source I’ve found so far on this story. Here’s the headline: Political Punch: In Pennsylvania, McCain Tells a New Version of Heroic P.O.W. Story — Subbing the Pittsburgh Steelers for the Green Bay Packers. Let me repeat: this man is a liar. If Obama had done <...>

Thanks Rachel.

6. Next week it will be the 1929 New York Yankees
Babe Ruth, Billy Dickey, Lou Gehrig, Frankie Lazzeri, et al.

McCain's brain is in full mental recession.

8. Knowing him, it probably would be
the 1927 Yankees are the ones often considered to be the best team in the history of baseball. The '29 Yankees finished 18 games back of the pennant-winning then-Philadelphia A's.

McLoser and the '29 Yanks: A perfect fit.

P.S. It's Tony Lazzeri, not Frankie. :-)

10. McCain recounts a story in his book that in his first interview with his
captors in Nam that he recited the lineup of the Green Bay Packers instead of his real squadron.

His story in Pennsylvania was that he recited the lineup of the Pittsburgh Steelers.
