Sorry I feel compelled to post this - GOP reps are NOT supporting bushco impeachment!
Their grave and serious words, quoted on another thread - were made in 1998. The post demonstrates how they were empty suits back then, and are still just empty operatives today. These are the same folks (on the same committee) who go apoplectic at the suggestion today, even in the face of evidence of more serious offenses against the constitution.

There was a lot of high-fiving and confusion that I think needs to be clarified, and while folks tried to do it on that thread (myself included) too many folks didn't scan the thread, or read the link and seem to be under the impression that these folks are taking a strong stand against bushcheney. They are not. However that thread does highlight the degree of ridicule that each one of those representatives should be subject to in their home districts and across the country!

2. Yep - maybe if this can hang
near the top of the gd (even if it doesn't make it to greatest) enough will read to clear up the confusion. Not to mention reminding folks who live in these reps districts to start writing LTTE pointing out the irony and asking what it would take for the rep to support impeachment - or does only party affiliation require going the impeachment route?

3. An embarrassing moment for DU.
But maybe the lesson learned will be a benefit down the road.
