Listen, compared to what's coming, The New Yorker thing is a blip.

We can wet our pants all day long about whether or not The New Yorker cover was satire, but seriously, just wait 'til the Repubs bring out their crazy-as-hell no-one-saw-it-coming Swiftboat 2008, new and improved.

Maybe this warm-up over The New Yorker will prove advantageous in that it warms us up for the crap that's yet to come.

Keep your powder dry, and plentiful. It's early days.

2. I'll be a broken record here and say again
The right can keep spreading lies but .

If they keep pounding the lies, it's our job to keep pounding the facts.

5. Definitely true.
The race issue is going to see some significant airing, and borderline (if not beyond) caricature.

If that's what it takes to expunge it, then let it begin and be done.

8. Gas is over $4 a gal. and our banks are failing.
They can call the Democrats anything they want. All we have to say is that the oil companies and banks are going off welfare. And mean it. It's the economy, stupid.
