Changing the map, state by state
One of the things that I've liked about Obama is his embrace of the 50-state model. His willingness to spend and compete in every state. The latest evidence that this may be working is in North and South Carolina:

This is really the big news, in my opinion. Dean showed that it could work in 2006, and Obama is taking it to the next level. That he'll force the GOP to spend big money across the deep south and the midwest is incredible.

Even more evidence as Dean heads south to recruit:

Even more, as the Obama campaign is starting numerous grassroots efforts to get hispanics involved and registered.

I think that most individuals are fairly intelligent when given the opportunity to see sufficient information and not be influenced by a mob mentality. (Maybe I'm naive) Stealing from "Men In Black", "A person is smart, people are stupid."

The democratic party has abandoned the people of several states to the mobs for too many years. Obama has the money and the organization to not have to abandon any state.
