Poll question: We are seven years on and STILL have no answers...
Edited on Wed Jul-16-08 05:09 PM by Mr_Jefferson_24
...from the White House on the anthrax attacks, even though the weapons grade anthrax used was traced to one of our own facilities.

Do you find this acceptable?

Do you think we should be demanding some answers?

On edit: Minor spelling/grammar.

12. Here's some interesting commentary...
Edited on Wed Jul-16-08 06:16 PM by Mr_Jefferson_24
...over at Raw Story on this piece:

From anonymous poster:

The anthrax lead RIGHT BACK to the same place the 9/11 funding eventually lead back to: the bowels of the US government. It was PROVEN by the FBI that the anthrax originated from a secret army lab in Fort Dietrich Maryland. Funny how the White House was put on Cipro on 9/10 by the same guy (Jerry Hauer) who sent FBI agent
John O’neil to die in the towers.

Conspiracy Flashback to the Ford Administration - and look who is running the ANTHRAX coverup...

http:// www.frankolsonproject.org...eArtichoke.html

The conspiracy originated at the top, in the White House, initiated by Donald Rumsfeld and Richard Cheney. It had just been learned that the CIA allegedly drugged its employee Frank Olson with LSD before his supposed suicide.

Rumsfeld and Cheney, heads of the White House chiefs of staff, at the time recommended to President Gerald Ford that he apologize to the family in the name of the government, and to support retribution. In order to prevent worse things from happening. That's the content of this White House memo:

49.21 "There (is...) the possibility that it might be necessary to disclose highly classified national security information in connection with any court suit or legislative hearings."

49.38 Ten days later, Ford hosted the Olson family and apologized. This allowed him to remain silent about state secrets – and the true reasons for Frank Olson's death.

49.52 Voice of Eric Olson "What this means for me is that a national security homicide is not only a possibility, but really it is a necessity, when you have a certain number of ingredients together.

If you are doing top secret work that is immoral, arguably immoral, especially in the post-Nuremberg period, and arguably illegal, and at odds with the kind of high moral position you are trying to maintain in the world, then you have to have a mechanism of security which is going to include murder."

50.26 The two politicians who collaborated in the conspiracy in 1975, Rumsfeld and Cheney, are back in power. As vice president and secretary of defense of the government of the United States.

2. Do you think we can get Congress to subpoena the answer?

6. Doubtful -- I'm not at all sure we can get Congress to do anything...
...meaningful on our behalf anymore -- they don't answer to the citizenry.

3. The answer is obvious
The sent it to Keith Olbermann of all people.

Grown in a US Military lab and sent at the President's order. Given that fact, demanding answers is futile.

7. Certainly futile in that we could not reasonably expect...

...honest answers to be forthcoming from this criminal administration, but not futile from the standpoint of sending the message that we haven't forgotten these suspicious attacks, and further, reminding them that there is no statute of limitations for the crime of murder.

4. It doesn't matter what we think. Our representatives have made that clear. nt

8. It matters that we make it clear that as far as we're concerned...
...it damn well matters what we think. They would like for us to give up on seeking justice for their crimes, and this would be a serious mistake on our part IMHO.

10. What I was trying to say is that
we TELL our reps what we think -- a LOT -- yet so often it's as though they didn't hear a thing...

Bitter cynicism, but I keep letting them know just the same.

5. it was an inside job, thus no investigation (see also 9/11)
I hate to get all "tinfoil hatted" on you, but look at what the anthrax attacks accomplished. The Patriot Act was passed without review, question, or debate

9. The timing was rather convenient for...
...those wishing to see the Patriot Act passed without any meaningful debate. A little too convenient I'd say.
