I know it took many months and many many hateful prejudiced full of stereotypes posts before I left the "liberal" board I used to post on.

So I wouldn't leave, but who knows about other people? For people who have been here longer, it might be the last straw for them.

I have no idea if someone will leave. But if people leave because someone disagrees with them over the meaning behind a photograph then perhaps internet messageboards are not the best place for them to be in the first place.

What kind of shit are you trying to stir up with this? There was a thread with a whole list of disgusting ads, which some people didn't see as degrading towards women. I figure it's because they're ignorant in the dictionary sense of the word, not because they aren't progressive enough. Doesn't mean they need to leave DU or that the question should even be asked.

Sorry to say.
That can lead to many interpretations and as one who has experimented sexually in the past ( I did grow up in the 70's), I can see another side of this.
I think it is hot. The woman is drop dead gorgeous. I love the shoes. The guys are sexy as hell.
The woman isn't fighting...it is quite possible she advertised on craigslist for a gang bang. You know some women do enjoy adventurous sex.
Rape isn't seductive. This picture is seductive.
That's what this grandmother thinks anyway.:shrug:
