I see that MSNBC's Brian Williams is now "Embedded" for Bushies "Surge" and he's supposed to be reporting the Bush/Cheney PROPAGANDA...but... DOES ANYONE HAVE NUMBERS???

5. I don't think this is right. I thought there were 10 people killed in one day in one incident.

4. I went to your link but it was difficult to find Body Count for last 5 Days
Many of us don't have time to parse through. Do you have the numbers from that site for the last five days of killed and injured?

It's a good link and thanks for posting...it just takes too long to "parse through."

14. Try this link
Edited on Thu Mar-08-07 01:07 PM by SoCalDem
http://iraq.pigstye.net/

there are tabs that show a more detailed version too.. with bios and can be sorted by ages, date of death, by country, by service etc..

I think this is the "best" site of all the ones that list the carnage

7. Dontcha GET IT! Americans don't want NAMES...they WANT BODY COUNTS!
Edited on Wed Mar-07-07 08:41 PM by KoKo01
The "collateral" damage and scrolling screens of "faceless" Americans with body parts blown off and death and distruction...is too REAL.

And, yeah...I was lazy going for what the MSM didn't report...which is the Number Count...but I thank you for the names....and scrolling carnage.

Many here from the "early DU Days" did EVERYTHING humanly POSSIBLE to STOP IRAQ INVASION...so we ARE AWARE....we just get HeartSick over the Carnage... The numbers are all we can push to the MSM and the RW
"Keyboard Warriors"......who don't really get off their duffs to do anything.

3. Shush! Everyone's attention is on one of the tens of thousands of,...
,...violent cases in U.S. courts.

Much more practical to focus on one case rather than a piece about the overall rate of violent cases in the U.S.A. Much more practical to do a piece about a puppy saved from the ice in some obscure town than to report on the dismissal of US attorneys who failed to "toe the line", politically. Much more practical to focus upon a singular, tragic incident rather than inform the people about the oppressive activities of their government.

BAH!!!
