Suggest new names for DAVID GREGORY'S show... because...

My girlfriend (aka "Toots") and I can't stand this David Gregory tool. We can't wait for his show to be cancelled. We were sitting here thinking that when we watch this thing, all we do is wait for it to be over so we can watch Chris Matthews.

So, she suggests that MSNBC should rename the show. She recommended that the show be renamed:

Because that's ALL WE FUCKING DO with his TERRIBLE SHOW...

I was trying to figure out if he's staunchly anti-Obama or if he's pro-Obama and trying TOO HARD to play the part of the hard-hitting neutral news host.

He just wouldn't take Markos's word that he's supporting Obama. "Yeah, but Markos, can Obama win without the Left?" And Markos said "He's not going to HAVE to - he's got the Left."

I don't know how Rachel keeps from kicking him in the teeth.

"We repeat the same stories as every other show so you don't have to learn anything new?"

I heard they put peanut butter on the roof of his mouth to keep his lips in sync.

At one time he was THE only interesting White House Correspondent and he frequently asked tough and probing questions in pressers with aggressive follow-up. I would have pegged him as the next big (real)political journalist.

Perhaps others thought the same thing, because I think that they just declawed and neutered him and gave him his own show so that he was contained and the rest of us could go about our business without being annoyed by reality or anything.

I think as time goes by, he will be hideously embarrassed of that dancing picture of him with Rove. Can you imagine Helen Thomas twisting with Haldeman?

I actually kind of got excited about the show being on when it first debuted...that lasted about two days; then I realized that he apparently WASN'T embarrassed by that video and in fact, instead, intended to continue "dancing" with the neocons. What a disappointment.
