VP straw poll for our fair booth
The Wisconsin Valley Fair starts next week and I've been asked to put together a straw poll for democratic VP picks. One web site I went to has shitty choices:
1) Bill Richardson
2) Evan Bayh
3) Jim Webb
4) Hillary Clinton
5) Ed Rendell
6) General Zinni
moderatepolitics.wordpress.com

The only one I find acceptable on this list is Richardson, I like Webb and could live with Clinton but I don't think we should unseat a sitting elected senator or congressman.

2. The site say's he'd help win with republicans.
The site claims Bayh should be consider because: he would help Obama with Independents, Republicans, and blue collar workers. Lastly, he endorsed Clinton, so he may help Obama pick up Clinton supporters.

Since when is any democrat going to help with republicans - those stupid enough to call themselves republican will continue to vote against their countries and their own best interests.

4. If people are going to vote for Obama it won't be because Bayh helped.
Nobody outside Indiana knows who the hell is Bayh. Voters in the surrounding states when Bayh was SoS and later for 8 years as Governor would at best might had heard about him every 4 years during an election year. People have short memories.
