1. I don't find anything wrong with that.
It shows a commitment to the American worker, and to our country. Besides, have you ever called the outsourced customer support people. They just read from a list and if the question or answer isn't written there, they just hang up! The other problem is that you cannot escalate the call - they will not hand you up to a manager.

2. I actually hate overseas call centers
Because most of the time I cannot understand a word they are saying. Partly because of their accent, partly because of the crappy VoIP lines companies use to save even more money. Not saying I get a bad US based CSR now and then, but most of the time I call and get overseas CSR, my problem cannot be resolved and they end up transfering me to tier 2 back in the US.
