National Guard mobilizes for POSSIBLE hurricane in Texas

(it was on a video news clip so I can't really post the article)

It is going to be a hurricane, likely, and will likely hit Texas. I'm glad the government is on top of this for Texas (no offense to any Texans, save one particular one).

Wouldn't it have been nice if b*sh was from Louisiana? Maybe the government would have prepared days IN ADVANCE for NOLA. Oh, wait, I forgot - the oil refineries aren't there.

I do feel bad, though, for all those NOLAs that fled to Texas and now have to sit through another one of these.

Well, hopefully, damage or loss of life will be minimal.

1. Actually, there are a bunch of refineries in the areas that Katrina affected...
Motiva, Valero, Marathon, Murphy- just a few off the top of my head. Not to mention the chemical plants.

Otherwise, the point of your post remains valid.
