Greta Van Susteren is a scientologist!
http://www.sptimes.com/Floridian/121398/High_profile_couple_n.html

Cable News Network legal analyst Greta Van Susteren and her wealthy trial-lawyer husband, John Coale, are a Beltway power couple. She is the co-host of CNN's top-rated Burden of Proof. He is a mover behind the multi-billion-dollar anti-tobacco lawsuits. Both have dined at the White House.

And what about the fact they belong to a religion that teaches of Xenu, evil head of the Galactic Confederation? Who flew people to Teegeeack (Earth) 75-million years ago in space ships, chained them to volcanos and blew them up with hydrogen bombs, releasing exploded "thetans" that are now the source of most human suffering?

I've always believed in aliens. How else to explain GWB, Gramm, Cheney,
Benny Hinn, James Dobson, Bay Buchanan, Cindy McCain.......

15. After the initial flurry of coverage
of their religious beliefs, it just died out. Her husband was a big Scientologist for years, before they got married. Now, it's of no import to the media, I guess.

2. Greta is on Fox News now.
I used to like her when she was on CNN and yes most of us already know she and her husband are Scientologists. I stopped watching her when she went to Fox. She became boring because they won't let her cover the interesting legal stuff that comes up in the news just the sensational tabloid news. That would make them look objective and unbiased.

4. People should be able to believe what they want,
as long as they don't force their beliefs onto others. That being said the CoS is pretty corrupt.

7. Do they ritualistically eat their annointed savior?
That would be pretty weird, too.

9. she's nuts, with or without it
I tend to agree with you about them. And NO, I don't think other religions are any more rational. They all believe weird, irrational things.

13. Druid, Baptist, Muslim, Catholic, Hindu, Buddhist
All have overwhelming blind spots when it comes to looking rationally at their own myths.

The only difference between a cult and a religion is TIME.

16. Yes, I understand.
I'm fine with people believing what they want to believe, until such beliefs affect societal mores and laws. Then I resist.

12. Scientologists, by and large, are fully aware how ridiculous the mythology is...
...they join for power and connections.

Scientology is Ponzi.

18. Greta's missing!
"The FBI on Wednesday said a search had begun for two young brothers who were reported missing on the Red Lake Indian Reservation in northern Minnesota.

Greta Van Susteren, the Fox News Channel’s host of On the Record, was also conspicuously missing from the scene.

This sparked an additional search for Van Susteren as her Fox colleagues insisted that she would never stray very far from a story involving missing or dead children, especially if the story made national headlines."
