So I was musing this morning while in a half state of grogginess, that area between sleep and mildly awake and a question and answer hit me!

Why isn't impeachment on the table? Because it needed to get to the other side! oh wait, still groggy.

Because moron* in chief is holding the world hostage with bombing Iran if he* gets impeached.

nancy pelosi (don't get me wrong, I'm certainly not defending her in any way shape or form) is basically being told by our barking prairie dog*, "if you table impeachment, just imagine a glowing Iran".

So our constitutional dictator* is holding us, the U.S. and the world hostage, via the nuclear button.

So we have all of these various charades going on in congress to feed the masses into believing that they are actually being responsible. They hold hearings where I they feign indignation and wag fingers at the criminals*. They issue subpoenas to give the facade of following the law, but and this is a big BUTT...

all the neo-con assholes* are in on the joke and aren't playing their parts correctly, so instead of playing the good part, basically tell congress, the people, "up yours, homey don't play that".

If these little tip toes into impeachment
"investigations" get going, be prepared for the "let's bomb the living shit out of Iran, because we can" rhetoric to ratchet up exponentially.

And mostly because the last thing our, 4 time failed business man*, imitation of a prez* wants on his* legacy resume, is he* got impeached for not getting a blow job.

In the mean time, we the people want to do the right thing and hang this traitor* by his* thumbs for crimes against humanity and for using the constitution for toilet paper, but sadly we and the world are being held hostage by the colossal fucking nutjob* instead.

As far as your theory goes, I don't know if it's accurate or not. I believe the Dems have been blackmailed, but I don't know if it's with "war on Iran", or something else. * & darth are definitely holding something over their heads.

You wouldn't do anything to provoke a raving maniac on the loose. So backing off and just waiting for * to go away in January might seem to be a smart strategy.

Congress is afraid of something or they are/were complicit in something.

Bu$h/Cheney/Rove-Co., IMO, has a well-oiled multi-faceted blackmail machine and it's been in operation since pre-2000. While Democrats and other left-leaners have been the primary target of the blackmail machine, many errant GOPers have been kept in line with the machine. The saber rattling over Iran fits the Bu$h pattern of fomenting fear, if not outright coercion and blackmail like Javaman suggests.

Nothing tin-foil here. With this simpering, puling boy-king and his fabulously corrupt and enabling minions, anything and everything is possible. It will get worse before it gets better .. if it ever gets better. Verb sap!

From what I read, we can impeach the guy even after he's out of office. I think it's more important, for right now, to get Obama into office and THEN we're gonna see all this shit come out into the open. And when it does, impeachment will be the LAST thing Bush should worry about - the world courts could be in his future.

If the media was in our favor they would impeach now, but the media would spin Impeachment so badly against us that no matter what crimes we find it will still be held against the democrats.

I just want the guy impeached and I want all presidential perks stripped from him because that's a shitload of money our government spends to keep ex-presidents. And finally I want his ass handed over to the World Courts. He needs to be held accountable by the world.
