...but Google has supposedly re-written their algorithms in order to stop Google Bombs from working any more. :shrug:

Google the old standby "miserable failure" and see for yourself. And cuil seems like it has a long way to go before it's ready for prime-time.

4. Rick Sanchez was trying to demonstrate Cuil.com

First it came up with no hits for his name. Then no hits for George Bush. Then no hits for George Washington. At that point he gave up. :argh:

I had to Google Rick Sanchez, but now I know who he is. What that has to do with the University of Denver is anybody's guess. :shrug:

I saw a reference to it on Slate, which invited people to offer up search terms to demonstrate cuil's and google's search capabilities. I googled our largest selling product, which shows up in the top three listings on google and not at all on cuil. And a new product shows up in the top five on google and not at all on cuil. It's a joke, definitely not ready for prime time. Go back to the drawing board and come back in a year.
