People are hurting badly.
It's so hard to handle--the pain and suffering of my neighbors. Some are too proud to accept help. Others are just desperate.

They don't have enough to eat, you see. And the local food banks are stretched to the max.
I support Barack Obama for president, as do every single one of my neighbors.
We are committed, former Clinton supporters for the most part, but all of us are firmly behind our nominee.
But poverty sucks the life and soul out of a human being. It makes you think that everyone has forgotten you.
They are drowning without a lifesaving net. I'm sure that people in your own communities are going through the same.
Please god, if you have any extra cash at all, donate it.
Some of our neighbors are eating tuna-fish and Kraft dinners every night of the week.
Some are old, some are Very young--it varies. But hunger knows no age limit.

The housing crisis? Bad. I feel for you.
The cost of gas? Atrocious. It's horrible, isn't it? How do you survive?
And yet...there are people barely surviving...people not eligible for public aid, because they don't have minor children.
Or people who are eligible, but aren't able to get an ID, because they don't have ten bucks to spend.

If you need a local link, I volunteer to find it for you--just tell me your city and I'm on it.
If you want something for your donation--just name it, and I'll do what I can.
Someone from DU helped us recently. The least I can do is to try and help others.

Please. Your poor fellow Americans need you, in order to survive until our party can make things right again.

We have faith.
Let's have faith together.

Eleanor Roosevelt said, "When will our consciences grow so tender
that we will act to prevent human misery rather than avenge it?"

When, indeed.
