First thing...kill all the lawyers *
Luckily, this man was not defending himself, or he'd be involved in a murder-suicide!!

Santa Cruz jury convicts man for killing lawyer

ASSOCIATED PRESS

6:12 a.m. August 5, 2008

SANTA CRUZ – A Santa Cruz man who shot his lawyer in the head for allegedly “screwing up” his workers' compensation case has been convicted of first-degree murder.

Angus MacIntyre was found guilty Monday of killing Jay BloomBecker two years ago in the attorney's Live Oak office. He could get life in prison when he's sentenced Sept. 17.

A day after the shooting, the 48-year-old MacIntyre surrendered to sheriff's deputies and confessed to shooting BloomBecker.
MacIntyre testified that the lawyer drove him to kill by talking down to him and, in his words, “screwing up” his workers' comp case.

1. The line was spoken by a murderous scoundrel who wanted to be rid of legal constraints.
Edited on Tue Aug-05-08 11:45 AM by TexasObserver
Dick the Butcher was a George W. Bush like character and he spoke those words because he wanted to be able to rule as a dictator, with no legal constraints.

The statement "let's kill all the lawyers" means "let's do away with the rule of law."

2. Yup
This guy pretty much took the law into his own hands, so I'd say that was accurate. :)

4. A few years ago, some dumbass got mad at his lawyer ...
... went to his office with murder on his mind, and when the lawyer wasn't there, HE KILLED THE SECRETARY!!

There's a certain number of murderous assholes out there, and they're going to kill someone some time. You have to be eaten up with the dumbass to think "if I kill so and so, then my life will suddenly be transformed from shitty to awesome!"
