Before 9/11 Bush WAS Warned 'Bin Laden Determined to Attack' in the US - Bush History, 8/6

The month before 9/11, Bush was told: "Bin Laden Determined to Attack Inside the United States". A clear warning, although not to Condoleezza Rice who, in an embarrassing spectacle, had to defend Bush's do-nothing response to such a clear threat a few years later.

1. the warning s were more specific then that

he was warned that bib laden planned to hi-jack planes.

You are correct. He was warned that al Qaeda operatives might be planning to hijack aircraft or launch attacks using explosives. Bush's response: his Crawford August vacation.
