The Economy is BOOMING!!!

in BOTOX sales!!!!

Put on a HAPPY FACE!!!.... Oops, can't smile?

It's all okay, we can rejoice! It's official... None of us will be able to frown or smile because BOTOX sales are up, UP, UP!!!

A survey conducted by the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery found that despite the economic concerns the use of fillers and Botox are on the rise. Twenty-eight percent of the survey physicians said that their current use of fillers increased up to 30 percent, compared to six months ago and more than 40 percent of survey respondents stated that the number of Botox procedures also increased compared to six months ago.

5. Sales may not be all due to vanity

I get Botox treatments to stop migraine and stress headaches. I used to take dangerous quantities of Tylenol to control the blinding headaches that I had every day, all day. Now just a few shots of Botox 2-3X per year stops them completely. A friend of mine also gets Botox injections in her arm and neck to control carpel tunnel syndrome pain. Botox is much safer for pain control than most pain medications on the market-but these are off label uses not covered by insurance.

6. Have you tried biofeedback?

Various forms of biofeedback are effective for many people. Temperature training works for some, EMG or EDR for others, and several different EEG training protocols have been helpful for different people.

10. My insurance won't cover that either

I like being able to spend just $300 twice a year for the injections. I'm assured 100% relief from the headaches, so to me that's an incredible bargain.
