'Girls Gone Wild' employee assaulted woman

It's a good thing her friend came to her aide!

''An employee with "Girls Gone Wild" was arrested outside a Smithtown bar early Wednesday and charged with sexually assaulting a woman on a tour bus, Suffolk police said.

The assault occurred about 2 a.m., soon after a wet T-shirt contest at Nubar, a single-room bar in a West Main Street strip mall, Suffolk police said.

Police allege that Matthew O'Sullivan, 37, a crew supervisor, invited a partygoer onto the bus, which was parked across the street.

The alleged assault was interrupted when the woman's friends climbed on the logo-splashed bus and pulled back a curtain, officials said.



Wearing a black T-shirt bearing the Girls Gone Wild logo, O'Sullivan represented himself at his arraignment at First District Court in Central Islip. Prosecutor Stacy Skorupa said O'Sullivan and the woman consensually kissed and touched on the bus before "things turned non-consensual."

Because anyone who is drunk may very well not be the same person they are when they are sober and you might just get an assault charge on your predetory ass.

If she was drunk and he wasn't, he knew what he was doing.

I wonder how many other girls he had sex with who were legally drunk and therefore incapable of legally consenting to sex.

That's the same sort of reasoning that leads to a defense lawyer blaming a rape victim for the way she dresses so it's her fault, not the rapist's, that she got raped. Just because you could have acted in a better or smarter way doesn't mean that you deserve the horrible things that happen to you. When a company suddenly goes kaput due to insider trading, does that mean all the honest investors who bought stock into that company deserved to get their money conned out of them by the criminals? No. Even though, maybe with more research and prudence, they could have avoided the situation. Hindsight is 20/20.

Yeah, it was stupid of the girl to get drunk and make out with a total stranger but somehow when she claims that things got non-consensual, it's just her making things up? She should just quietly shut up? It's also misleading to liken this situation to be one where groupies sleep with men in order to gain access to the band as here, the girls ARE the attraction.

Also, it may be porn but it's amateur porn where the girls involved are not reimbursed in any way whatsoever for their contributiosn. So it's probably even worse as it encourages a predatory way of thinking in the people involved in the production of these videos. These girls are literally just pulled off the street. They are not professionals and most likely, in their drunken stupor, they either do not realize they are participating in softcore porn and will regret it when they're actually in their right mind or they do not realize just how they're being exploited.

And from all the crap that the Girls Gone Wild company seems to pull, I am inclined to believe that it's more likely the Girls Gone Wild employee was being the scumbag.
