Edwards - People talking about "privacy" are completely missing the real point of this indiscretion

As one who's been cheated on...

If a cheater has no qualms about lying to the person they have made a life promise to-

What makes ANY of you think a cheater is not going to lie to anyone else they feel they can pull the wool over?

This is not about moralizing.

It's about seeing things for what they ARE and not what you all want to see things FOR.

This guy lied to his wife, he lied to his supporters... he is not to be trusted to tell the truth about anything in my mind from this point out.

He is a textbook example of malignant, self-serving narcissism. He's above reproach, until coming clean is required to repair his image.

I could care less about his personal life or how this effects him and Elizabeth.

But I'd be DAMNED if I ever trusted this guy to tell ME the truth unless it served his own agenda, as it does now with damage control since the Enquirer outed him.

Same goes for Insane McCain... how can ANYONE trust that dirtbag after he dumped his sick wife for Cindy Snake Eyes is also living in the same realm of denial.

You CANNOT trust someone who cheats on a spouse to ever be honest with you.

RAW

2. Yep. He put the whole damned Presidency on the line.
I voted for him. Had he won the whole damned thing would have imploded on this revelation.

4. Have to ask the same questions about
John Kennedy, Robert Kennedy, Bill Clinton, and although he never ran for any office Martin Luther King........

The sad fact is that philandering and power more often than not come hand in hand, it is a fact of life for most political wives and they know this from jump street.....

5. I felt some phoniness from him, did not buy his story
Never thought he was a cheater because he always touted the magical faithful relationship he had with Elizabeth. I speculate this is not the first. Why Oh Why did he run for Prez? Did he not see what we went through with Bill? OF COURSE HE DID! Remember Mr. sanctimonious? It's enough to make one sick.
And yes he should have known better. He cared about himself before family and country.

8. Yup...
The fact he admits he's narcissistic while seeking sympathy "beating himself up" is textbook psychology trying to make himself the victim...
