Ok I know this is a repeat but I am just watching
Rick Sanchez says we care about what's happening in Georgia because we get oil from that region
How dare he say that as the Main reason or the first reason why "we" would care about people being killed in the streets in any country.

Is that all we concern ourselves with, who's going to mess up our Oil Trade

Hey Rick I Care because I am sick of Over powered bully countries Killing innocent civilians in the streets, because their leaders have no regaurd for human life
f--k the Oil!

1. Rick is an idiot
The oil market is a worldwide market.

The only difference this war makes is who is selling it into that market.

3. We don't get much oil from there, but Europe does.
If Russia gets ahold of the pipelines running through Georgia, it will have totally locked up the transport of oil and gas from the Caspian and Central Asia. That way he gets to jerk Europe's chain like he does Ukraine's--leaving homes without heat in the middle of winter.

Interruptions and uncertain in any oil province now moves the price of oil everywhere. Look for oil to go up next week if this whole adventure continues or, heaven forbid, spreads.

4. Fine. Try living without oil...
...and then you'll be justified in expressing as much outrage as you want.
