Barry Levine Says "MORE To Come" On Edwards Scandal & They Will

Enquirer says it intends to divulge what they know. Seems to me like the Enquirer sunk it's teeth into this and won't let go. A "good get" for them and they are milking it for all it's worth, even while NOT covering the John McCain issue.

Dribbling out what they have already known for many months is definitely to take the oxygen away from any positive Dem efforts. Waiting till congress takes its break to grab control of the news cycle - as usual.

If I want news I don't watch MSM-they don't cover news. If I want manufactured "scandals" then I'll watch MSM.

I'm not passing judgment and still feel for John & Elizabeth Edwards... we ALL make mistakes and I have yet to get my PERFECT button! And yes, I know what replies will be coming, I made my statement about this on several posts and Nance Greggs did a wonderful job of explaining and laying out this story, to which I wholeheartedly agree!!

Not a good thing to do when the Enquirer rather obviously has gotten the inside scoop on this whole sordid affair from a source that is/was close to him. They've got cameras in his hotel rooms for God's sake. The more he dissembles, the more the Enquirer is going to pound him.

have been without a computer or t.v. set for about 5 days last week. I only heard about this Edwards mess last night. At first I was shocked. Then, I thought--not shocked he did it, shocked he thought he could get away with it. This man was a candidate for President of the U.S. How on earth did he think it would not become big time news? He became his own worst enemy. I suppose the only redeeming excuse he has is that he is human. I am sorry for him and his family. And I am very sorry this has become news for the tabloids and MSM.

and prolonging a high-profile Dem sex scandal in a year when Dems should sweep is NOT helpful.

have a special pull-out section containing the previous "affairs" by other high level political figures, preferably past and present presidential candidates. The front page could be a collage of photos of the various figures with their wives and homewreckers cut and pasted together in lil cartoon-esque text balloons, etc.

Of course, it shouldn't be the typical cream-filled, sugar sprinkled bon-bon piece but along the same lines of their treatment of Edwards, make it very thorough, like the Edwards scandal.

They'd have to go back a ways but lawd knows most of the information is easily obtainable if you're a proper journalist.

It would have course give the highlights of each "scandal", tie it all together and slap a bow on it and label it as a gift to the people as an example of fair and balanced sensationalist smut journalism.

from major media outlets, the money trail is highly questionable. It ain't over. That's for sure. They'll keep digging. If there's anything else he's not being truthful about he needs to come clean ASAP.
