Words fail......Check out the American Family Association's poll of the day
Sen. Barack Obama has clearly demonstrated his full support for all aspects of the homosexual agenda. (related article)

* I agree
* I disagree
* I am not sure

http://www.onenewsnow.com/Poll.aspx?ekfrm=210372 (The link will probably get Rick-rolled, as all DU links to the AFA seem to. If so, you can get to the poll by going to the AFA's homepage www.afa.net and scrolling down to the OneNewsNow area)

Failing economy, endless war, pshaw! Go away! This is 'it'! They're living in the past, poor dears. :eyes:

3. here's the wikipedia definition:
Rickrolling is an Internet meme involving the music video for the 1987 Rick Astley song "Never Gonna Give You Up". The meme is a bait and switch: a person provides a Web link they claim is relevant to the topic at hand, but the link actually takes the user to the Astley video. The URL can be masked or obfuscated in some manner so that the user cannot determine the true source of the link without clicking (and thus satisfying their curiosity). When a person clicks on the link given and is led to the web page he/she is said to have been "Rickrolled". By extension, it can also mean playing the song loudly in public in order to be disruptive.<1>

The practice began as a variant of an earlier prank originating from the imageboard 4chan called duckrolling,<2> in which a link to somewhere (such as a specific picture or news item) would instead lead to a thread or site containing a photoshopped picture of a duck with wheels. The user at that point, is said to have been "Duckrolled". The first instance of Rickroll occurred on the site's video game board, where a link to the Rick Astley video was claimed to be a mirror of the first trailer for Grand Theft Auto IV (which was unavailable due to heavy traffic).<3> The joke was confined to 4chan for a very brief period.

By May 2008,<4> the practice had spread beyond 4chan and become an Internet phenomenon, eventually amassing some coverage in the mainstream media.<5><6><1> An April 2008 poll by SurveyUSA estimated that at least 18 million American adults have been rickrolled.<[br />

6. I'm not sure how to respond....

I'm not even sure what the AFA freaks mean by "homosexual agenda", but I assume that they're including marriage in their definition. And Obama, sadly in the name of political expediency, is never going to publicly support same-sex marriage.
But part of me wants to answer yes, just to rub it in the faces of these pigs that their days of White House-supported gay-bashing and using gays and lesbians as political footballs are coming to an end (hopefully).

7. Exactly. That poll is a no-win for rational people because no matter what the final result is,
it can (easily) be spun in a negative way. I hate shit like that. :grr:

8. can you comment?
what a ridiculous sickening poll. this "homosexual agenda" crap just fucking kills me. what is the homosexual agenda? equal rights? why shouldn't obama be for that? it's just sad, with the wars that are going on, with the economy in the toilet, with the environmental issues threatening everybody's standard of living if not their very lives, these idiots can't find a better way to spend their time than drumming up votes for a warmongering, adulterous, jerk on the basis of a NON-issue. i mean it is sad.

i'll click on the links if there's a place for me to let them know what i think of their fucked up poll.
