Can't stop thinking about the 3000 on 9-11, the 4000 G.I.'s, the 80,000 wounded, the million Iraqis
I get so pissed seeing bush still grinning and stumbling and sneering all these years after he allowed nine eleven to happen without warning us. I am still filled with rage at how he's exploited the 3000 dead from that awful day, which he could have prevented, but chose to go on vacation instead.

I can't stop thinking about those awful images of people jumping to escape the flames, and the awful pain in my heart.

I can't stop thinking about all those young Americans who felt a call to duty, and went to Iraq and Afghanistan and fought and died for America, yet, they died for money and power, and they died in vain.

I get so pissed off thinking about the over 80,000 permanently wounded American soldiers, and the many who have killed themselves, and the many who will always carry the awful things they did and saw with them, and I go into a rage when I think about how callously cheney sent them, and how much money he has made off of their sacrifice.

And when I think about the million plus Iraqis who have been tortured, blasted, bombed and terrorized into their graves my mind goes somewhere beyond rage or anger, like looking into the clear sky at night and seeing the uncountable stars, an incomprehensible number of dead, a number difficult to grasp or react to.

And I think of tony snow's words. "It's a number", and I get angry all over again. Through all the fascist media noise about adultery or who is the most patriotic, I still feel a rage when I see bush grinning, still there, in my White House.

And I have a constant, dull, throbbing anger toward America's total inaction in the face of these awful numbers.

1. It is kind of hard to sweep that under the rug like a GOPer can.
The M$M is really taking care of the sweeping this war...

2. All of the really nasty stuff is kept from our sensitive eyes and news.
It's a secret war, right out in plain view.

3. Death is 'ho hum' for Re-Pubic-Rats. The solution to all problems
for republicans is to kill people or let people die. Katrina, WTC, Iraq, Healthcare are just some specific examples of the death solution. :dem:

4. What gets me is Dick Cheney
Under H.W. he sets up outsourcing of things the military used to do in house ...
cooking, mail, transportation, logistics, construction, and so forth.

Under Clinton Cheney because head of one of the firms that get the outsourced
"work."

Under W Cheney lies us into a war and he and his friends make billions (some of
which is kicked back to pay politicians, media, and Abramoff types). And the
"work" by the contractors adds to the death toll by such things as feeding
everybody in one area ..... 60+ were killed in one terror bombing and soldiers
are being electrocuted in showers built by KBR.

6. Every day I weep for what we've become: the new barbarians
being a pacifist, it is very difficult to live with, as I know full well the money I've paid in taxes has gone to support death, murder and mayhem, as well as to the destruction of our constitution.

7. We're pissed too....
My husband and I sit numb,in the mornings, watching the news and listening to the horrors this man has caused...as he WAVES constantly at the cameras..and giggles and stumbles his way thru life. I think we are alone in our disgust of him until someone like yourself, puts it into words. We're not alone in our grief for Country.
