Will an Obama presidency result in lower gas prices?
Haven't paid much attention to political news for awhile, so I'm a bit behind. What exactly is Obama's plan for Iraq and other issues pertaining to our dependency on oil?

1. No
We're running out of the stuff

The price will keep going up until we cut back on driving and no politician is dumb enough to suggest that.

2. Yes.
Lower prices on gas, lower prices on food, lower prices on health care...

3. Then go catch up.
It's not hard to become familiar on your own with the plans and policies of the candidate.

4. Next summer gas prices go to 5 / gallon
We fall for it every year. Americans curb their driving by late in the summer prices go down.

5. The cheaper the energy, the greater the impact environmentally
We can't have cheaper energy prices. At the same time, we can't not have cheaper energy prices.

If only we could eat the giant pickle we're in.
