Not all of us live in the same time zone, and work to avoid seeing any results before seeing the event.

9. The word went out from the admins to please not do spoilers in
thread titles. While that does not affect any other board, of course, it would be nice if the people on this board thought a minute before posting something, and saved the results for the content of the thread.

Believe it or not there are a great many message boards on which the denizens do NOT post spoilers in thread titles. It's really a very simple concept.

We request that people refrain from posting Olympics spoilers in thread titles. In addition, we request that people add a Spoiler Warning in the title of threads that contain spoilers.

However, we're not going to have a big crackdown on spoilers so we suggest that if you are concerned about having the results of a particular event spoiled, you should take matters into your own hands and not hang out on the message board while you're waiting (or hang out in an area where Olympics discussion is not taking place).

26. What's so amazing about Phelps
is that he just swims away from the competition without any extra effort, and his competition consists of the greatest swimmers in the world. The only athletes he reminds me of are Jordan in his prime and Tiger. As Bobby Jones said of Jack Nicklaus "he plays a game with which i am not familiar."
