Why does Joe Lieberman even caucus with the Dem Party?
Edited on Wed Aug-13-08 12:45 AM by HardWorkingDem
With his latest statement (that Obama does not always put country first)why does this asshole remain a Democrat? If he is so unhappy, why doesn't the miserable fucker just get out?

And if Reid and the others don't do something about this prick, then they can kiss my ass. I'm sick of this jackass.

But on second thought, maybe the Dems should give him a chance to speak in Denver; then his ass would get booed off the stage.

2. Isn't he an Independent now?
I thought he changed when Lamont won the primary. No matter, he is still an asshole.

8. I heard through the grapevine that.......
holy joe might be McCain's running mate. I pray that is so.......then we Dem's in Ct. can have a special election and give Mr. Lamont the Dem. seat he earned!!! I for one will raise HELL here in Ct. if he tries to hold onto his Senate seat while running(if he does) like he did when he ran with Al Gore!!!!!!Back then I thought it was a good idea;....not so much now!!!!! You don't realize how much he is hated in Ct.by the Dem's. More so than out there in DU land!!:grr: :nuke:

4. He ran for the Senate as a member of the "Connecticut For Lieberman" party.
He lost the Democratic nomination.

Lieberman is NOT a Democrat.

9. Because if he switches, he becomes insignificant.
This way he gets far more personal influence. So even though he appears to be a Republican in every meaningful way (and a rather hardcore one at that), he's willing to let his real party sit in the minority if it means he gets more influence.

For Lieberman, it's all about Lieberman.
