Worst-case scenario

This is the worst-case scenario we're looking at here (and I am not entirely joking):

1) Detroit Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick's troubles cause Obama to lose Michigan, hence allowing McCain to narrowly win the White House.

2) "Crazy John" starts wars with Iran, Russia and other countries to be named later.

3) The war leads to an all-out nuclear exchange with Russia, killing off civilization as we know it and a good part of the world's population..

4) In other words, the worst-case scenario is: KWAME KILPATRICK GETS US ALL KILLED!

It would not be Kilpatrick's actions that cause McCain to lose it. But Kilpatrick's actions could allow McCain to get Michigan's Electoral votes and win the election.

Once there, McCain would be far more inclined to start WWIII than Obama would.
