Oh Goodie...Corsi Is on C-SPIN Tomorrow

Peter just announced it...also said the network will do a "BOOK TV" feature on him. My bets are they give him a solid hour with no one to refute his lies. No mention if there will be a follow-up guest from Media Matters or some other group to refute the lies. Also, it'd be nice to let them hear from viewers about getting Cliff Schecter on and his book featured.

Here's a heads up to those wanting a shot at this slime merchant...call early, call often.

she said McCain was "cleared" of wrongdoing in the Keating five, then, when asked by a caller to amplify, she COULDN'T. she admitted she didn't know the details

then, when talking about lobbyists' influence on the campaigns, omitted to mention that almost all the highest level campaign functionaries for McC are/were recently LOBBYISTS!

what a joke

and the AP reporter on before her bragged that AP goes right down the middle, when a caller criticized the media for being in bed with the warmongering pugs

she forgot about Ron Fournier, apparently

I'm starting to get to the point where all these stenographers are turning into white noise. They are so brainwashed into the "conventional wisdom" and their myopic beltway world, they are both coward and compromised to do any serious investigating other than spewing the talking points they're fed.

They should also interview the author of "The Real McCain", by Cliff Schecter. It is factual, although partisan. It has good reviews.

7. At Least We've Been Warned...

Hopefully there will be plenty of word spread today so that the open phone segment should be very much worth watching.

It's also a good reminder of whose C-SPIN masters are. They're not a "public broadcaster", but owned and funded by the major cable comapanies. It was set up in the 80's to fulfill a mandated "public service" requirement that the GOOP ceased upon and have long used this channel to astroturf their propaganda...and do it with a veneer of credibility.

The more I see this crap, the more I wish Al Gore and company would turn Current into a real news channel and do this country a tremendous service.
