FReepers react to the news that Obama gets more money from soldiers than McCain
http://biz.yahoo.com/ap/080814/military_donations.html?.v=1

Of course, they took this news in a reasonable, understanding manner:

'I don’t believe the military is supporting Obama. Probably Soros using military names to get more cash in Obama’s hands — illegally'

'is this the same type of “obama visiting the troops” but he only staged meetings with black soldiers (pictures from abc anyone?) in order to propaganda that only black people are in the army?'

'I DON’T believe it.'

'I call BS!'

'TOTAL BULLSHI’ITE!'

'Cut and run Paul said the same thing about himself. Saying it does not make it true. Does any sane person actually think our brave men and women in uniform who risk their lives to keep America free would support two of the most anti-Americans around? I doubt it also.'

'So the 9 troops that were willing to play basketball with him came up with enough money to out do the rest of the military??'

'Doesn't mean a thing. Most troops don't make enough money to give away to politicians anyway and the ones that do are usually Officers hedging their bets on future promotions.'

(so they're giving money to Barack to get promoted....how does that work again?}

Denial is a wonderful thing...

7. It makes perfect sense Obama's getting more money

There are a lot of minorities in the military, who tend to vote democrat anyway. And there are also a lot of young people in the army, another one of his strenghs.

8. I'm an old fart
white guy who served in the Navy for a long, long time and I haven't voted for a republican since 1976. Why the hell would any kid in uniform want a commander in chief who would rather you work harder rather then smarter?

12. "caged" votes, as they say demonstrate in one of the
election fraud videos -- they send something to the soldier's home and when it comes back, they pull his/her right to vote.

Nice. thanks for serving...and guess what, we deny you your right to vote.

6. If this had told them what they wanted to hear i.e Mccain was getting more money than Obama
Something tells me they wouldn't be quite so critical.

4. Same people say Bush really won in 2000 & 2004
But Clinton really didn't in 1992 & 1996.

When Obama's landslide comes in, they'll refuse to accept that too - and keep their Philcos tuned to Limpdick & the crazy Wheiner.

10. Projection much?
'I don’t believe the military is supporting Obama. Probably Soros using military names to get more cash in Obama’s hands — illegally'

Substitute "Sargeant" for "Soros" and "McCain" for "Obama" and you get the truth:

'I don’t believe the military is supporting McCain. Probably Sargeant using military names to get more cash in McCain’s hands — illegally'

Suddenly, it all makes far more sense.

13. oh, now you know they hate the FACTS
come on! so voter fraud was proven in 2000 and 2004 and it always has been used -- wait for it -- according the the GOP internet security guy (spoonamore) by REPUBLICANS not democrats.

and then there's the illegal voter investigations done by the REPUBLICAN doj -- again, according to prominent REPUBLICAN-- investigations which only revealed that there was in FACT NO NON NADA voter fraud by Democrats, illegals, etc. all of the stuff the reight wing nutters spew on about in their lonely bedrooms at night with only their illiterate stuffed snake Johnny to talk to.

EVERYTIME A REPUBLICAN MAKES AN ACCUSATION, CHECK YOUR BACK BECAUSE THERE IS A KNIFE SLIDING IN, DOING TO YOU EXACTLY WHAT YOU'VE JUST BEEN ACCUSED OF.

It's called "projection" in sophisticated circles. The GOP calls it "righteous winnin".

11. What would they know how actual soldiers think, they're too busy at home
fighting "The War on Liberalism" to actually go put themselves in harms way.

Carpel Tunnel doesn't qualify as a battlefield injury.....

14. Oh, freepers just are inventive enough:
"imagine, Obama taking advantage of those soldiers, taking money from those the military underpays."

Hmm, may have to work on that one a bit more. ;-)
