bush coming (again) to New Orleans and the Mississippi Coast
Katrina's third anniversary is two weeks from today so of course the commander in chief has to come down and get his picture taken with little black kids for no apparent reason. No doubt piyush wil get another photo op, maybe he can be goaded into hugging bush like mccain did so it can be used against him in the future.

Stay away bush, you are not welcome or wanted or needed. Never have been, never will be.

3. For Him, It's "Mission Accomplished"
Hell, the Jackson Brewery is booming, the Casino is open, the Garden District looks real pretty...and all this contractor buddies got billions from the public "teet"...to hell with those in the lower 9th and St. Bernard Parish. And also, this sure took care of that "voter problem" in Orleans Parish.

After visiting last March, I was very inspired and impressed with the resilliancy of the people I met...and how so many spit at the mention of booooosh and what his cabal had done to that lovely city as well as the entire Gulf Coast.

5. Everytime we go to New Orleans
(about once a month) we always drive through the lower ninth. There is progress but it is glacial. Its funny the parts of town people point to as progress were very minimally effected by the storm. The French Quarter had some wind damage but no flooding. And now we got a brewing scandal about the Mayor Nagin administration (fake democrat) possibly diverting monies earmarked for the town's poor and elderly by paying off contractors for work not done. Despite all that the good times still do roll in parts of the Big Easy. Keep coming back. Help rebuild New Orleans one beer at a time.
