Every reason you can think of not to vote for McCain
Here are my main three:

1. He hates Asians (Google "McCain gooks" to see what I mean)
2. He's one of those politicians who wants to censor violent videogames, like Lieberman. Superficial in the big picture, I know, but still something that pisses me off.
3. He's essentially Bush with a brain. This encompasses every other reason why I don't like him.

What are your reasons for opposing McCain?

1. 4. War. Repeat, WAR. Lots of WAR.
And for all the WAR he wants, it's gonna take a draft...

2. He thinks Reagan scared the commies away
"without a shot".

Dude, I was there. Lemme tell ya. Shots were fired.

John boy really should know that.

4. 5 and 6

5. Endless war and countless foreign policy missteps with the potential to finish, or at least come close to finishing, the United States as a world power, even in just four years.

6. "I will be a pro-life president." Utterly chilling. Any woman, or anyone who cares about reproductive choice, who votes for this maniac needs his or her head examined. Ahhhh, the prospect of an America divided by whether it's legal in a state to have an abortion or not. In keeping with the theme of the night, all I can say is, Jesus.

6. I disagree with your #3 - 'bush with a brain'
I don't see much evidence of any more neurological function in mcsame than I do in bush. They're both 'brain dead'

We need to stop putting/accepting 'vegetables' in the WH!

7. He's going to die before the end of his first term and . . .
We'll be left with Romney/Huckabee/Ridge/Whoever . . .

2) His temper is almost certain to pop at exactly the wrong moment, plunging us into multiple crises
3) He's an economic moron who will be led around by the nose by asocial 'Lican plutocrats
4) He's owned by more interest groups than a third-rate boxer. He owes 'em all big time. Who's going to pay the bills?
5) He'll put someone (or multiple someones) to the right of Scalia on the Supreme Court
6) He'll enable more Republican schemes, which have proved disastrous to the country and the world

I'm sure I can come up with more.

13. He will be unable to control his temper, and as a result...
...not only will we have to deal with whatever situation caused him to lose control of himself, but we will also have to deal with an out-of-control executive.

That will not be a situation we want to be in.

It doesn't matter if the situation has to do with attacking another country or how to handle the budget. His temper will cause any problem to get worse.

We cannot afford to have a loose canon in the White House.

21. Here are some reasons, and it's not exhaustive

I believe he lacks real empathy and conscience.

I believe he is a puppet of big Corporations. Like most Republicans McCain will align with the most wealthy in our nation to the detriment of the poor and middle class. I am not a member of the "most wealthy" so I see no reason to support him.

I am not impressed with his past involvement in the Keating Savings & Loan scandal. Or his close ties with Keating himself.

I am not impressed with his performance and antics when he was on the Senate Select Committee.

I disagree with the Republican idea of letting the "free market" go on its own when in reality we are a nation run by Corporatism and the most wealthy 1%. You have a good deal of very wealthy folks out there essentially gambling with people's pensions on oil prices. How does it go? Privatize the profits, and socialize the losses.

Iraq is a wonderful study in profiteering and greed. McCain would be content to let KBR and others stay their indefinitely soaking United States taxpayers. I'd rather spend that money rebuilding our infrastructure.

He's admitted he's weak with the economy and I believe him.

I have trouble supporting a man who opposed the creation of MLK day.

I don't think McCain will recover our lost goodwill among the international community.

I have trouble believing the man can be completely sane if he actually endured what he claims while a POW. I think his rumored temper is real and I don't want a fellow like that with his finger on the button.

I am most concerned with who will be best for the country's well-being and overall economic health. Making the rich more wealthy may achieve this on some scale and think there are more just ways of going about it.

25. Only three?
1. Does not support a woman's right to choose (i.e., that schmuck can nominate Supreme Court justices)
2. It's the economy, stupid.
3. Does not share my values (ending the war, giving a shit about people in poverty, etc.)
