lots of lightning and thunder all night. No wind at all so we're OK.
I'm waiting for the news to find out if there is any serious flooding in the North East.

Of course with 'Lightning Bolt' winning the 100M in WR time yesterday, people aren't complaining.

A great race...and I'm sure a great source of national pride.

This Gramps Barbie Doll already looks flustered...she's used to living in the bubble.

But then Gramps feels that you're not "rich" unless you have 5 million? How generous of him...reminds me of a bunch of fat cats I knew who laughed that you weren't "one of them" unless you had $10 million.

12. I Detested Zbig In The 70's

He stood with the Shah to the bitter end...a lot of the mess that exists in our current relations has his and Kissinger's dirty finger prints all over them. Alas, consider the alternative...Gramps will probably elevate Petreus to Consul General...give him dictatorial powers and build statues to him.

The endgame here is to make Democrats sound tough on foreign policy...once again jumping into the corporate media and right wing framing of the world....but I guess this has to be done to neutralize the myopia most people have about things outside the U.S.
