Clean sweep - gold, and silver (2nd place tie) - hahahahhahahhahahha! First time in 20 years one country has won both male and female 100m.

4. I had to switch
to watching CBC because NBC wasn't showing it. I know we are 12 hours behind so they are almost wrapping up their day in Beijing.

The triathlon is tomorrow! I love watching the running.

6. Merlene Ottey was robbed for years
because of others using drugs. Now that the testing is really happening, our athletes will shine.
These girls won because half of the island wanted Veronica Campbell to run the 100m even though she did not qualify at the trials. They had something to prove. All three are trained at home.

8. I live in Toledo, OH
down the road apace from Detroit, which is over the river from Windsor, Ontario, so I am lucky that I get CBC down here. I watch all my hockey on CBC.
