2. He is using Lewis as a token black leader, because even Republicans
know that it looks bad politically to act as if they don't care about black people. Absolutely shameless and disgusting.

4. At the time he mentioned Lewis, I didn't have a clue who he was talking about, and I'm more
informed than the average voter. Must have had a lot of heads scratching on that one.

5. someone should ask Lewis...
...how many times John McCain has had a one-on-one conversation with him in the years they've been in Congress.

I've always wished that Lewis would be on a presidential ticket and that Democrats would run on the righteous history of the party he exemplifies.
