1. Yes, it's changed, because we don't scare Russia anymore.
We're no longer the strongest enconomy in the world and our troops are spread out over the globe. There's nothing we can do.

rhetorical nonsense and expects people to what - be afraid? Take her seriously? Understand what her delusions are?

I presume that this was intended to be a veiled threat of some sort - although its meaning is so muddled and obscure so as to make one wonder if conDi has totally lost her marbles.

It is looking so much like EVERYONE in this administration is just running out the clock.

4. Unfortunately, that also seems to include the Dems in Congress.
Any, on either side of the aisle, deluded enough to believe this is all (magically) going to go away in February need to get other day jobs.

But what has been the response by the glorious United Nations?

Seems like the world is sitting back and watching the genocide unfold on split screen with Michael Phelps on the other screen.

Russia has been planning this for awhile. Where was Rice and her crack intelligence team a year ago regarding this? I think they got caught with their pants down...so to speak.

are you referring to the Georgian/Blackwater invasion of South Ossetia?

And when you say "Russia has been planning this for awhile," do you mean planning to come to the aid of their peacekeepers in the event of a Georgian attack?

True, I suppose the aggressive intentions of Bush and his puppet pals in Georgia have been pretty clear for awhile, so the Russians likely planned their response for awhile too.

11. Well, now, we cannot have other countries invading sovereign states any more
because our troops are exhausted from their multiple tours of Afghanistan and of Iraq.

So COndi and George better get out some BIG RULERS to do a smack down on whatever Presidents and prime ministers don't stay in the lines and obey our concerns for sovereignity!
