I know you're around here somewhere. Maybe not right this second, but on occasion. I know you read my posts. I know you're lurking around or posting. You might as well admit it - or not.

I'd like to thank you - post to post - for contributing in my name. I appreciate it more than I can say.

Of course, if you prefer to stay anonymous, I'll be just fine wondering who it was that reads my snarky, pissy, obnoxious, sarcastic, sanctimonious, scolding, angry, sometimes informative, educational and well-researched, and very rarely, humorous posts and thinks enough of them to want to see them continue. You know who you are. I'll just have to learn to enjoy the mystery. :D

As an unofficial member of the PC Police, Grammar Police, Sex Police, Angry, Humorless Feminists Club, and occasionally a member of the Gay Police, I thank you in spite of (or TO spite) all those people who :eyes: at the aforementioned groups. It appears I will, due to an anonymous patron, be around to cause more :eyes: in the days to come.

In all seriousness, thank you! whoever you are.

For everyone else, please feel free to thread-jack this thread all you like to offer thanks if you've been a recipient as well. Oh, a kick or a rec once in a while so my anonymous donor might see this would be greatly appreciated.

edited for a danged typo *sigh*

1. I, too, am the beneficiary of a generous donor.
I have no idea if he or she has seen my own thread of thanks. I hope so, whoever you are. I appreciate it... :pals:

2. A random act of kindness
or maybe a person paying it forward, perhaps.

4. Very possible.
Hell, around here, with some of the 'twisted' personalities (I consider myself one of them) it could also be someone who likes to "stir the shit" and sees me as a valuable "tool."

I don't honestly care. I just wanted my benefactor to know how much I appreciate what they did. I also wanted to make a place for others who've benefited to say so as well.

3. It is a good feeling to have someone donate for you.
I've had 3 people sponsor me in the past, now I can afford to myself.

5. This was totally "out of the blue."
I haven't been around much lately. Have posted even less. Surprised doesn't quite cover it.

I just hope whomever it was, sees this. I am grateful.

14. Naw. But, I post on a couple of groups, which do require stars...
and I like having some of the features (not bugs; it's a 'geek' joke) a star confers. And, I got a coupela stickies out of it. Woo hoo!

That wasn't the point, however. The point was...thank you to whomever. I am grateful.

It was very unexpected and I wanted to say - publicly - thank you!

15. Morning kick for Ms. or Mr. Anonymous.
Would it be considered piling it on too thick if I were to say, again, thank you! I am very grateful.
