or do other people have a hard time responding online to right-wing articles? Every time I try, it always comes-up: "Comments are no longer being accepted." It's not like I wait for a week. Seems weird.

2. Haven't had that experience directly, but

when I do choose to respond to what I call... "the inspirational right wing drivel emails" (I use the respond to all feature, because most of the folks that send them to me, haven't figured out how to use BCC, so I get this nice long list of email addresses), I usually get into some email exchange with one or more of the folks who are ticked off that I would use the respond all button. My response to that is that while they might be offended to hear another pov, I was offended to get the original drivel. They never do listen to anything approaching reason, but I have a good time, tearing up their arguments.
