that of bin Laden. IIRC, the ad didn't directly do that. It was a sleazy play on fear, no doubt-- but one face wasn't morphed into another. I can't say that I recall Hartmann ever making that claim himself, however, and since the Republican guy didn't cite any quote, I'm inclined to be a bit skeptical.

If I'm wrong on that, I'd love to see the ad-- but if I recall the thing correctly, it wasn't the "morph" that's often described.

you need to have done your homework if you think you're going to get the better of Thom Hartmann.

So the Osama image didn't morph but came a second later.
That's not the point. The point is grotesque smear advertising which they certainly did.

And the prosecuting thing-- more semantic quibbling.

That certainly does not make Thom an exaggerator. Far from it. Lots of other candidates available for that position. Like McBombBomb.
