(unless you're in a battleground state)

I can't spend half an hour enjoying re-runs of The Simpsons without being blasted by that damn commercial. McCain is hitting TV HARD in Virgina despite the fact that I don't think we're nearly as much of a battleground state that the media wants us to be (I think Obama will win VA by 4-5%).

I especially love how McCain is going to "take on Wall Street, Big Oil and Big Tobacco."

FFS, this is VIRGINIA! Tobacco is what we do!

Granted it is a very traumatic experience but short of heroism. This is a title of convenience. Where are the swift-boaters for truth when you need them?

Yeah, he's a former POW. And he's a maverick. I know you mentioned these facts but there's a quota for mentions per minute.

One thing is funny, though. Kerry was a war hero, too - but you couldn't beat that out of the media with a bat.

Kerry and McCain were supposed to have been friends. When 'The Maverick' was really, really needed, he was FUCKING AWOL. he gave some tepid pro forma response to those ratfuckers who were swiftbaoting Kerry and that was that.
